When is check-in/check-out time ?
Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am.
How do I interact with the wildlife safely?
Birding watching and other activities that include admiring wildlife from a safe distance. We ask that animals are not fed, and for your own safety not touched or closely interacted with.
Wifi?
High-speed internet is provided throughout the house. Work remotely? The relaxing environment combined with our lightning-fast wifi makes The Retreat the perfect place to work.
When is the best time to visit?
Our property is available for rent year-round! Our favorite time is Fall, being surrounded by nature just feels right. Every season has it’s perks, you be the judge!
What is there to do on & near the property?
Birding watching, Giant Chess, Kayaking, Paddle-Boarding, Star Gazing, Campfires, and so much more!
Restaurants & Groceries near by?
The houses include a kitchen equipped with a stove, full-size fridge, freezer, microwave, trash compactor, and pot fill. Most of our guests pick up groceries on their way.
Upgrade to our VIP package and we will have the fridge and freezer filled with your personalized choice of anything from fresh produce to frozen pizzas! We provide organic gluten-free and vegan options as well!

Can I bring my pets?
Currently, we are not allowing pets. Please contact us regarding service animals prior to booking!
When will the inground-pool be open?
The pool on the property will be completed by the end of 2022!
Do we have access to the pond on the property?
Absolutely! Darrs Pond is the perfect place for our guests to enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, and so much more!
